First Baptist Church

Established circa 1888
The First Baptist Church of China Grove was organized in 1888. The
church met at various sites until 1925, when property at the corner
of Franklin Street and Patterson Street was purchased from a
Presbyterian group. The present church and educational building was
built in 1961 and a major new fellowship hall and church office
annex was completed in 1994.
