The Fred Sides Home
(Now Home of Barbara and the late Charles Doby)

Mr. Fred Sides built this home for his bride, Lula Patterson, in
1919, with the hope of having a big family so their children could
enjoy the fourteen (14) room home. Mr. and Mrs. Sides never had
children, but Mrs. Sides sold the house to Charles and Barbara Doby,
who had five (5) children, so that the house could finally provide
for a large family.
