Built circa 1898
The W. J. Swink house was the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Swink,
who were entrepreneurs and community leaders in the area for many
years. Mr. Swink was involved in the development of Cannon Mills
Plant No. 8 and was instrumental in the establishment of the Farm
Life School. The residence is now owned by Atlantic American
Properties, which restored it and converted it to a multi-family
residence.
